HL-201 APolyacrylicAcid (PAA)
CASNo. 9003-01-4
StructuralFormula:
Properties:
PAA can form stable compoundswith metal ions, calcium, magnesium, etc. It has excellent solubilizing effectson calcium carbonate and calcium oxide in water and is currently one of themost widely used polycarboxylate water treatment agents. It can be used aloneand is generally suitable for use at a concentration of (2-8) mg/L. It can alsobe used in combination with organic phosphonates, organic phosphate esters, andpolyphosphates, with good synergistic effects, and can operate under alkalineand high concentration conditions without easy scaling. Polyacrylic acid doesnot pollute the environment when discharged. PAA is a commonly used dispersant, which is not only used as a scale inhibitor dispersant in circulating coolingwater systems, but also widely used in industries such as papermaking andtextiles, printing and dyeing, ceramics, coatings, etc.
